Now that I am registered, how do I add a listing?
Listings are added by filling our automatic forms, which consist of box checks, information lists and pictures upload. Forms are customized for each property class (homes and condos).
What are the options available with listings on FSBOB.ca?
In addition to the property information, each of your listings can contain up to 12 images. Listings include Google maps, Yahoo! school and neighborhood profile links customized to your property address. Listings also include your seller information so that you are easily reached.
What are the rules concerning pictures upload?
Each listing can have up to 12 images of 3 meg or less. If the size of a picture is too large, you have to resize it in order to upload the image. Several softwares can be used for that purpose: Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop, your digital camera default software package, etc. You can either change the resolution of the picture or reduce the quality of the image.
Can I modify my listings on FSBOB.ca?
To edit your listings, click on the edit listing link to add or remove any relevant information or upload additional images.
What is the Featured Listings section?
The Featured Listings section on the main page includes properties that are advertised by sellers that made a request with us. As a featured property, your listing will always be displayed on the top of our pages when a search request that matches your listing's criterion is performed. This will significantly increase the traffic on your listing, resulting in more and faster sales!
How can my property be included in the Featured Listings section?
In order to add a property in the Featured Listings section, you need to send a request by email to our Advertising Department : fsbob.ca@gmail.com.
How long will my listings be available on FSBOB.ca?
Each listing will be available for a period of 180 days after its creation, after which, the listing will expire. However, if you wish to keep your properties listed, you can post your listings again for as long as you would like. Note that you can also delete your listing from our system at any time.
How can I use the Craigslist Ad Generator in order to reproduce my listing on Craigslist?
The Craigslist Ad Generator is a unique feature of FSBOB.ca that will help you promote your listing. By using our application, you will be able to directly reproduce your listing on Craigslist by exporting your listing information. This is a unique feature that will greatly improve your exposure in a very quick fashion. In order to use the generator, you need to select your listing in the edit my listings section. Once you have chosen your property, you need to select the generated HTML code that appears at the top of the page; a button will allow you to automatically select the code. Now that the generated code is selected, you have to copy it in the "Posting Description" in the "Post to Classified" section of Craigslist website. Who do I contact if I am interested in a listing on FSBOB.ca?
If you are interested in a listing, you have to contact the seller (broker, owner or builder) directly. Each listing includes the seller's contact information and an email link. You can click on the "Contact Owner" or "Contact Broker" link at the bottom of the listing. A screen will open and after you fill the relevant information, an email will be sent to the seller. Do not contact us in regard to a specific listing.
How do search results appear on FSBOB.ca?
When you perform a search on our website, the listings are sorted by the last modified listings. However, you can easily customize the results by clicking on the "Sort Listings By" links. By doing so, you can sort the results by Price, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, and City. By clicking twice on a link, you will toggle between ascending and descending order for the specified field of your choice.
Who is responsible for the information on a listing?
FSBOB.ca is not liable for any information that concerns listings and properties details. We also suggest buyers to be cautious of any fraudulous suggestions such as money transfers by internet prior to a legal arrangement.
